Pen Compatibility Issues - HP ZBook Mobile Workstation 15 G4

Hi all, 

I recently purchased a HP ZBOOK X360 Pen for my work HP ZBook Mobile Workstation 15 G4 
However it is unresponsive when using the touch screen. I've previously used a stylus pen (soft rubber top) to draw with no real issues and decided to give this new pen a go for more precision. 

Would this be a compatibility issue? or would you know of an alternative pen that would be compatible to allow me to draw using the touch table mode on this laptop?
