Pro mini 260 g9
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have been experiencing an issue since the beginning of January 2025 regarding the HP PRO MINI 260 G9 and HP PRO MINI 400 G9 range.

In fact, since the deployment of the Windows 11 24H2 update, when I turn them on, they don't want to start and get stuck on the HP logo (260 G9; on hp wolf security for the 400 g9). I had to restart them with the button three times so that they restart correctly and when I turn them off in the evening, the next day it's the same thing.

I tried to perform a hard reset, updating the firmware or restoring it, entering the BIOS settings to disable certain boot options such as Secure Boot, Turbo Mode, Hyper Threading and TPM device, nothing worked. So I took the initiative to reinstall everything while saving my data but still the same!

On this day the problem still persists. My computers are on warranty, i have been calling the hp support from my country but they couldn't help me and every time i open a ticket, they close it a few days later without getting called to keep me informed.

I got an answer from a ticket to replace the motherboard but it didnt fixed the problem.

I have no other solution, do people here have the similar problem?

Remaining at your disposal,

Best regards

Mimir

Did you get to resolve this >? I have exact same issue using Win 11 24H2 on this model.  It runs ok on 23H2 version.

Hello, sadly not. I still have the problem and i don't have any solutions on this day.

Since i am a professionnal, i got the head technical support engineer from hp france working on it, we've been talking with e-mails and they can't find a solution yet.

According to his latest information, the problem is based solely on Windows 11.
