A follow up on this issue found in a couple of other threads. I fell into this trap of reading the "specs" page for the Z2 mini and thinking it was a standard low profile pcie slot and accepted any such board. However, if you read the fine print in the "quick specs' page, it will, in a slightly garbled way, state that only specific HP cards are supported. So all the complaining and ranting about the incompatibility (which I love by the way) and lack of conforming to a standard is unwarranted as HP doesn't hide it, so we all just need to read all of the fine print, or better yet, as this is a business product, reach out to a salesperson in business sales to help keep things clear.
