RP2 won't start 4 systems

Dear reader,

I have four HP RP2 Retail System model 2030 with the same problem.
When switch on you see, for a short period, the HD LED light-up. Also the very little white power LED is lit and that is all.
Try different sockets and AC adaptors and all with the same result.
Warrenty is expired and HP is to expensieve to send in for repair. 
It's strange that 4 systems (from different locations) has the same issue.
Resume; AC plugged in,       

                   push power button,

                   see the HD LED lit-up and extinguish when power button is released,
                   Little with power LED stays on,
                   And then............. Nothing happens   😞

Has anyone experience with this problem and/or solution?

same issue on one RP2. Did you find any solution?

I have the same exact issue on a RP2 2000, coincidentally the last successful startup was around the same exact date as OP. 

Power light indicator on the front lights up, but there is nothing on the screen. I tried connecting an external display as well through the built in DisplayPort but still, nothing. 

very odd coincidence…
