HP Prodesk 600 G1 sff and HP 320W SMPS
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have an HP Prodesk 600 G1 sff motherboard and HP 320w high efficiency SMPS with 6 pin P1 to PWR, 4 pin p3 to the CPU, and 6 pin p2 to the PWR CMD headers. The primary problem is that the p2 and p3 cables are shorter to reach to the headers. P3 has the solution of the extension cable which is available anywhere but P2 cable'

s extension cable is hard to get, then what should be done to extend the cable to reach to it's proper header ? The pin is having 04 coloured coded cables as shown in the photo.

Note : The psu(SMPS) is also defferent from the motherboard's standard SMPS but the pins they having are the same. The SMPS I have is for the HP Elite 800 which I want to use for the HP Prodesk 600 G1 sff. Is this possible ?

i would simply extend the existing wires on the power supply by cutting each wire and soldering in a extension wire and covering the solder joints with heat shrink tubing
