Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

Hello All,

I am new to thin clients and so far I managed to get HP device manager installed on a server and it can see the available thin clients.

I would really appreciate if someone can let me know how I can setup DHCP/DNS options so when a new thin client is deployed on the network it will be automatically registered with HPDM, instead of me doing a manual discovery.

All T530 thin clients are running  Windows 10 IoT.

Thanks in advance,

Dhanushka

Please find step by step guide in our documentation.

If you are using HPDM 5.0, it is on page 272 in the Admin Guide.

If you are using HPDM 4.7 SP11, the DHCP tag 202/203 are in whitepaper WP_DHCP-Configuration_HPDM-4.7.pdf and the DNS record is in whitepaper WP_Device-Discovery-with-DNS-Service-Record_HPDM-4.7-SP6.pdf.
