Product: HP Device Manager
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

We recently upgraded HP Device Manager from 4.7 to 5.0 due to a critical security bulletin.  (HPSBGN03644 rev. 1 - HP Device Manager VNC Session Remote Unauthorized Access).  The devices found the gateway and appeared in the console.  But now all tasks get stuck at Sending.  Then fail after timing out.  I am wondering if the agents have to be updated manually?  We cannot update the agents, shadow, reset pws...anything.  Any help would be appreciated.

 

The process we followed is that we un-installed 4.7 on the server.  Rebooted, Then installed 5.0 SP1 on the same server.
