Z220 cmt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,
i'm new to the community and need help.
for a problem I have to replace the case of my Z220 CMT with a different model.
In the manual I have not found the description of the pins for the power button and led ..
If possible I would like to know the correct position of the pins to connect the new power button and LED.

thank you all

first of all "WHY" do you feel the need to swap cases? the HP case is engerneed for good cooling and noise levels something many 3rd cases lack and the power supply will power all drive and expansion slots as long as the video card used matches the power draw (wattage) of a HP card

you will need to read the HP user service manual for your manual (look on HP site)

this manual should have some of the pinouts, if not then you need to trace the existing cables

if the above is beyond you then perhaps you should rethink about whether you should proceed

several 3rd party computer parts resellers sell adapters to convert the HP power connector to a ATX connector

last, your question has been asked before on this forum, please in the future try the "search" function of this board before posting a question as you may be able to locate a answer from a previous posting

Thanks for the reply.

I had disassembled the case to upgrade the components but I lost the side panel and some important parts of the case during a move to a new home.
if I am unable to use a new case, I will buy a new motherboard.

thank you
