T630

Hello,

Sorry for the flurry of posts. This is the final in my Thinpro 7 trilogy!

We have T630 thin clients, running Thinpro 7. We're ironing out some minor niggles, but one is quite annoying.

They are used to connect to a Xenapp farm. The user logs in to the Xenapp link on the Thinpro desktop. The settings are set to display the published application icons on the desktop. This all works really well, and shortly after authenticating, the icons appear.

The user then double clicks an icon, and a green dot appears on the icon to indicate the application is launching. However, that green dot disappears after a few seconds, and then there is no feedback for the user for up to 20 seconds before the application launches.

When launching from a Windows machine, the Citrix reciever provides feedback that the applciation is launching, so the user doesn't sit there wondering, or clicking multiple times. It doesn't seem to be the case in Thinpro 7. This isn't a problem once the first application is launched, and the user is logged in behind the scenes. Subsequent app launches are much faster.

So, the question is, is this a known issue/feature? Or is there a way to get the Thinpro Citrix reciever to display more feedback about launching applications?

Thanks for sharing any feedback and thoughts.
