Thunderbolt 3 PCIe AiC - Connection Problems

HP Recommended
HP Z4 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We purchased HP Z4 G4 with Thunderbolt 3 PCIe AiC. The Thunderbolt 3 card is not being detected always – sometimes it appears and sometimes it does not.

We followed all of the official instructions about the installation of the card - Win update, BIOS update (01.83 Rev.A), drivers update ( Rev.A).

We tested the Thunderbolt 3 PCIe AiC with UltraFine 5K monitor. After several shut down and restarts, there was a connection. Then we restarted the Z4 G4 again and the connection was lost. We had to plug in and out the TB3 cable a couple of times and then the TB3 PCIe AiC appeared again and hence we had connection. After unplugging the TB3 cable the TB3 card seems to disappear from Device Manager.

We need your urgent assistance on how to fix this matter, as without stable functioning TB3 connection, the Z4 G4 is useless for the purpose it was purchased.

Below is the full configuration of the Workstation.
