Forgive me, but here (hp datasheet) we list other cpus. i7-4700 is lga1150 but i7-3770K could work too.

the i7-4790 is a Later 4th gen gpu and will NOT work in a Z1
the HP Z1 (original model) only supports sec gen xeons and ivy bridge cpu's
