Brief update:

 

Yesterday was the first "Patch Tuesday" from Microsoft since the release of the W11 22H2 major update that can be updated to via the special methods first brought to our attention by Paul_Tikkanen (a respected and long-time member of this forum) and expanded on by a hybrid method blending two methods detailed previously in this thread. All credit goes to Dong/ Paul/ Jensd (a friend in Belgium) for making the parts available.

 

Here's the news... all the workstations/laptops that were upgraded to and working with W11 22H2 (via the hybrid method described about 1/2 way through this thread) received all the security and OS updates available through Microsoft's Patch Tuesday October 2022 Windows Updates.

 

I still have not been able to get the Z Turbo Drive G2 build in a Z440 to upgrade from W11 21H2 to W11 22H2... ir seems to be missing a driver. Any advice would be appreciated.
