I recycled an old Z400 into my home PC last year and have been delighted with it in every way.
I have it set to Sleep after 15 mins and it wakes up every time I need it within a matter of minutes.. I must have woken it many 1000s of times in the last year and its never failed me.
But last week, I moved the mouse.. It started up.. And all of my USB devices powered on, but it never actually woke.
I was a bit disappointed but it happens, so I rebooted and thought nothing of it.. I tested sleep a few times and it was perfect, so I thought nothing of it.. But the next morning (after it had been to sleep for around 12 hours) it appeared not to wake, but then after a minute or so, it did... And shortly after I had a crash, which required me to power off....
It has now been OK for a few days, but it just seems to be taking longer to wake... It powers up instantly but generally takes 10-20 seconds to actually wake..
I have been doing some tests and if I go to sleep and then immediatly wake, its wakes literally instantly... But if i leave it for an hour or so, the wake seems to take much longer.. Certainly longer than before.
Nothing has changed.. But the wake time is noticably longer.. And since it failed twice in a row, I am paranoid..
Does anyone have any ideas of what I might do...
So far, I have
1. Disabled Fast Start
2. Exited Teamviewer (Which I read has caused problems like this)
3. Run 'powercfg -h off' which deleted teh Hybernate file.. And then "powercfg-h on".. Althougth I am sleeping, not hybernating so I don't think this will help.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what I can do to debug this?

failure to wake issues (when previously working) are usually caused by a software task/running app that has either crashed or caused a problem with normal OS operation check the windows error logs to see if any program/app is posting any errors

Thanks for that.. If I look in the Event viewer at the "Application" logs, there are only 1 event at the time of sleep.. And 3 when it Woke.. And none have errors...
So I don't thik there are any software issues that I can see... I will try the other suggestion later.
