I was trying to see if anyone could help answer a few questions about my computer. I'm wanting to play games and I need a graphics card and I was looking at different ones but it says you have to have like a minimum of 400 watts power supply for one that I wanted mine has 240 watts can you get a 400 watt that would install it this ones place? Also Would I be able to install the kind of card I'm wanting which is a GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB . Any help is appreciated thanks.
HP Compaq 6300
intel i5 quad core 3.20 GHz
16 GB ram

the HP 6300 pro SFF (Small Form Factor) models can only use a 25 watt low profile card per HP your not going to find any gaming cards that draw 25 watts
if you replace the existing 95 watt cpu with a 65 watt "S" suffix model using a 75 watt video card should be possible
with the above said it might be possible to ignore the HP specs if you have only one SSD hard drive, no CD/DVD and only two sticks of ram with no other pci-e cards other than a nvidia 750 TI low profile model (without any Aux pwr connection) and have a 65 watt cpu installed
the 750-TI is a 75 watt card but beware some models do use a AUX GPU power connector, so be sure the model you get does not have this!!!

my personal recommendation is to simply replace the 6300 SFF with a different system that is a ATX standard Microtower as tht config allows using generic parts that can be upgraded
