Z4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When occasionally browsing the HP support/download page I noticed that there was a BIOS version described as "02.92 Rev A" dated 09/25/2023 available for download. On the POST message screen during boot, my Z4 says "02.92  08/10/2023"

so I assumed that there was some minor ("oops") change that resulted in an update.I did a cold reboot and went into the setup menu only to find the same "02.92" without any letter suffix.

I downloaded it and went on updating. Got a warning message but decided to proceed and it all went well. But the next boot still displayed "02.92".

This makes me a bit confused. may I humbly suggest that HP includes the revision state ("A" or whatever) and maintains the same date of issue on the support download section as well as the displayed version during POST.
