Product: HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC

I have an HP comapq 8200 elite sff pc with intel core i5-2400 processor. I cannot find the secure boot option in the startup menu. Its supposed to be in the Computer Setup>Security Menu but I cant find it there. Any ideas where it could be?

Hi:

 

The 8200 Elite model series has a UEFI BIOS, but does not support secure boot.

 

The first HP PC in the Elite series that has a secure boot option is the 8300 Elite model series.

while you can swap out a 8200 elite series board with the 8300 elite (the rear I/O is the same between them) you will not gain much

 

and neither the 8200/8300 series are win 11 compatible due to the cpu's they have (win 10 loads fine on both)

 

if you really want to swap to a 8300 series board they are on ebay for about 15/25 dollars
