T630
Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

Hello Everyone,

Our organization is in the final step of deploying Thin Clients. We are however running into a strange problem that occurs with multiple monitor setups.

On a T630 running the HP version of Windows 10 IoT:

When connecting to a Citrix session, the session is displayed full screen and function keys like alt+tab switch between the applications running in the virtual session. Pressing the Windows key opens the start menu in the virtual session.

The above is expected and wanted behavior. The issue only happens when the "Main Display" is switched in Windows directly or through Easyshell (see attachment at the bottom).

In this situation, when you use alt+tab you switch between the virtual session and the Easyshell. The windows key does nothing. It seems like the focus is not in the virtual session anymore but on the underlying Thin client.

Switch the main monitor back again, and everything works as normal .

Is this something that happens with your setups? It is really weird behavior and i am not really sure how to troubleshoot it.

Tested with Citrixweb 14.12.00  and also CitrixApp 19.5.0.26.

As logon menu i tried multiple versions of imprivata and our inhouse programmed menu.

I also had Easyshell uninstalled completely.

Write filter = Disabled

The two displays used are of the same type and have the same resolution. Both connected with Display port.
