Product: HP Z8 G4 workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I bought a workstation with 1 SSD and 1 mechanical drive. Unfortunately, Windows was installed on the mechanical drive instead of the SSD... What can I do to install it on the SSD and keep the same license ? (no installation disk was included with the workstation)

the "Z" series is a current model and under HP warranty support, as such restore media is available from HP along with tech support via email/phone

 

if the OS and the restore partition is on the mech disk and "you" added the SSD then all you need to do is CLONE the mech disk image onto the SSD using any of the numerous cloning programs that are available
