no, searching for the kit/part is really your job fire up google and search for "4KY82AA"

then if necessary contact the seller and ask if it's in stock and ready to ship

DGroves,

I was asking the other guy.

Sorry to hear that you encountered a dishonorable eBay seller. If you go on to the HP PartSurfer you can look up the Z2G4 TWR and find that they had four separate "Options" part number for the card guide/fan cage you need. It surely is not what fits in the Z4G4. All 4 of those resolve to the same HP "Spares" part number, and that is listed as N.A. in PartSurfer. So, none by HP but search for all 5 of those and you might find a real one.

Or, several Ghetto blasts from the past:

There is nothing special about the fan... I'd use a HP fan used elsewhere as a PWM case fan. Some will run faster and some slower but as long as it has one of the case fan type plugs used in the Z workstations (red brown plastic, only 2 orientation ridges one on each side, 4 pin holes). The black plastic cage is nice to have but if you do a ghetto mod as shown the BIOS/motherboard will be happy.

p.s. I happened to see the comments that came up while I was typing this. DGroves is a friend, less diplomatic than I am, and much more experienced. He has helped many here for multiple years in many ways. Cut some slack please... and here are 3 more Option part numbers from HP for the same exact thing... one of these may help but some ads want to sell you the bigger kit for the Z4G4. Fan size is the same. The most handy thing to have is the assembly part number but that is either on a label on the cage, or embossed into the black plastic. Personally I'd go Ghetto at this point... you could even put in a 80x25mm PWM fan and the motherboard would not know.

I've been out of town so didn't see this until now.

Wow! This is amazing! I can't thank you enough for this info. I very much appreciate it. I'm going to name the next pet I get "SDH Ghetto" in your honor. 😁

And DGroves, you have my sincere apology. My last comment was quite inappropriate. SDH is entirely correct to chastise me. This is not an excuse, but an explanation: This problem has gone on for over a month and I am at my wits end and extremely frustrated. But I shouldn't have taken my frustrations out on you, especially since you were trying to help me. I am sorry.
