Recently got a deal on some Micron ECC memory so I picked up two 32GB SODIMMs and loaded them into this computer
They are PC-5600 DDR5 ECC
They only run at 4800 mhz
Right now this computer has a 12-500 i5
Is the memory clock speed a CPU limitation?
Or perhaps there is a BIOS setting?
I’ve been using Macs for so long that I **bleep** near forgot how PC memory works

Seems to be a CPU limitation. Assuming that you mean the Intel i5 12500 processor, it tops out at 4800Mhz.
