you know HP does this thing called "DOCUMENTATION"
all HP approved things like cpu's ram and whatnot
are covered the the HP QUICKSPECS that HP publishes for each system
they are free to download and are updated by hp if major changes are made
such as new cpu's/GPU's being tested and approved by HP the date of the quickspec
is noted on each release at the bottom of the pages the link below is march/2025

note that some systems can use cpu's / GPU's not tested/approved by HP
however system compatibility is not guaranteed by HP
this applies mostly to GPU's and RAM as mgrs.' release new products quite often for these items
last, changing cpu's/GPU's can also require upgraded power supplies and cooling
so check first before installing. HP will note if a HP approved part requires upgraded support parts
