Hi Everyone,
So I rescued a HP Workstation Z220 - Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz from the E-waste pile at work, the only thing missing was the RAM... (happy days)
I have bought RAM and a GPU for this machine, which works great, but in my haste I didn't check the PSU, which didn't have a plug/lead to power up the GPU..
I rushed out and got a corsair VS550, which of course, doesn't quite fit in place as it is slightly small than the original... (I can make this work I thought... no biggy)
Until I noticed that the plugs an leads are very different to the stock HP PSU and it doesn't look like they will be compatible.. (HP propriety parts I guessed)
SO, it's easier to try to find a PSU to replace that actually has the GPU sockets I need instead of somehow making the VS550 work but I can't seem to find anything that looks like it will suit this older workstation..
Can anyone point me to a PSU that will work with the Z220 existing hardware and give me the leads I need to connect to a RTX2070?
