HP Z230 Base Model Tower Workstation

Hey guys, Im pretty new to the scene of Pc’s and i wanted to see if this Z230 could run a game called Valorant, as is, and it seems that i need TPM 2.0. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, anyone know how i can do this real cheap?

Your machine runs Windows 11 now, it should have TPM 2.0 pre-installed. Why the game asked for it ?

Regards.

Hey Banhien, I understand that if i have windows 11 i should already have TPM 2.0 but for some reason when I type windows key and R and then type tpm.msc in the box it says I have TPM 1.2. I really don't understand it. The game asks for TPM 2.0 for the anti-cheat it uses, and it won't load the game unless it senses TPM 2.0, and it currently does not sense TPM 2.0.

short answer,...  replace the z230 with a z240 which can be upgraded from tpm 1.2 to 2.0 check ebay for one you want the tower model not the SFF one

as far as i know, the z230 will not support TPM 2.0 due to the platform not being a HP supported windows 10 platform

this means that since HP does not offically support windows 10, they will not be releasing a TPM 1.2 to 2.0 firmware updater

see page 40 of the z230 matainance and service manual for TPM
