Z400 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade my RAM

Currently, I have

Z400' v2      6-DIMM Workstation

Single CPU w3520

Bios  Boot Block  (11/10/09)      v.3.61

3 x 2 DDR3 ECC unbuffered RAM

Can I  fill the remaining slots (with identical RAM) even though I have a single CPU?

HP documentation says I need 2 CPU's to utilize all 6 slots, but the motherboard only has a CPU single socket.

Yes, 6 slots each filled with matching 2GB sticks of that RAM, running under a single processor, is exactly what our home library Z400 version 2 workstation has been doing for years now.  That must be a typo....

Thanks SDH,

Your previous posts on the Z400 RAM requirements were extremely informative and helpful as well.
