Z400 Power Switch

I need a replacement power switch for my z400.

 

On the HP website I see an instruction sheet, which states the part number is 536304-001 

 

But searching ebay I also see sellers offering a Z400 power switch with the part number 455796-002.

 

What's the difference between the 2 parts and which one do I need?

For some reason HP has a part ID system that includes generally two numbers for the exact same part, the Spares part number and the Assembly part number.  You may see these as AS P/N and SP P/N.

 

In your case 536304-001 = 455796-002.  Searching for parts on eBay should be done via both because you may find a better deal under one versus the other for the exact same thing.....
