I have a Z440 that I am beginning to set up. I installed a pair of brand new Samsung 1TB SSDs and successfully set up a RAID1 with the Z440's built-in RAID software, installed Windows 10 using the Cloud Recovery tools, all went smoothly. Went a couple of weeks without getting back to the machine, did not even turn on. Switched on this morning, RAID1 configuration box (tiny, but legible) shows RAID array "Failed," but "Bootable" - no dice. Will not boot. Hit Ctrl-I went into the RAID configuration, shows #2 drive error. No other tools there to address the failed drive that I can see. Still shows first drive as bootable.
Tried to boot a couple times, then successfully boots into Windows 10, completely normal.
Does anyone know the best way to go about diagnosing this situation? RAID tools?
