Z620 Windows 10 install issue

HP Recommended

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I was trying to do a clean install of Windows 10 after experimenting with Linux. However when trying to do so I am now being asked to select the driver that I wish to install. It seems that I have lost whatever drivers that are needed for WIndows 10 to install. I tried to use a couple of storage devices that I had downloaded from the HP website but they dont seem to be appearing.

I'm desperate to get this working and any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi Damo123,

Since your doing a clean Windows install, have you tried resetting the BIOS back to the default settings? What type of drive are you installing on to, e.g. HDD, SSD or PCIe?

This turned out to be an issue with the actual HDD itself and it must have been corrupted in some way. Tried a different HDD and got this working fine.
