Z640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Here are the specs:

Windows 10 pro x64

Dual xeon e5 2690 v3

128gb ECC ddr4

(2) 2tb SATA SSD

Nvidia 3080 10gb

So, I had just done a full format and reinstalled windows 10 because I had something that didn't work on windows 11. I got all the drivers installed, got that new bios that came out last month I think. It was working perfectly. I left it downloading some stuff from steam overnight. When I woke up I noticed that it was off, and I had set it to never turn off. So I turn it on and it sounds like nothing happens. The power light is on but it's more quiet than usual. After about 30 seconds all the fans start going absolute full speed. Nothing is displayed on the screen. I let it run like that for about 5 minutes. Unplugged the power and tried it again, same thing. I unplugged the power and tried holding down the CMOS reset button on the motherboard for 5 seconds, turned it back on, same problem. There are no beep noises or anything.

Please help! What can I do?

based on your supplied description, i suspect the bios you downloaded was not fully installed for some reason resulting in a corrupted bios

the system ran on the existing (older) bios until the system was rebooted for whatever reason  and at this point the new corrupted bios is unable to load properly resulting in the symptions you listed

please search this forum for crysis recovery posts by "SDH" he has documented the steps needed to reload the bios when the existing bios is corrupted
