Z8 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Anyone have suggestions for opening the side panel access door to the front panel slots 4-7 on a Z8 G4 Wkst? I pull on the spot where the blue label is but it only slightly opens. I don't want to pull too hard and bend or break something.

Got it.

Maybe this video can help you. It shows how to remove and add those panels on an older model, but i think it works very similar in the Z8. 🙂

On a Z800 one must first remove the upper side panel to being able to open the panel that covers the PCI slots. Worth trying. 🙂

On the Z8 there is one main door access panel then several behind that. The one I'm trying to open is for the front panel slots that contain the CDROM, front panel, I/O, etc.

I see now the access panel I was trying to open isn't a panel but more of a locking mechanism. Thanks for the video link.
