Hello,
I am new to the group and I have been looking through previous posts trying to find a solution with an issue that I am having with poor SSD performance on my Z800. Most of the threads/details that I have found don't seem to cover the simple question that I have with regards to the extremely slow performance I am experiencing with my Samsung 870QVO 2TB SATA SSD. Currently CrystalDiskMark only is seeing about 145-175Mb read/write speeds? Is there something that specifically needs to be done with the SSD formatting or changes to Bios that will allow me to use the full potential of this SSD on the Z800? Would a PCI/SATA interface board help with the situation?
My system is Dual XEON CPU setup
64GB of Ram
Win 10 Pro 64
Thank you very much for your time!

is the bios configured for Raid+AHCI ? this is the correct setting
have the correct intel RSTe (enterprise) drivers been installed? you need 4.3 or better yet the 4.5.1080 release which is win 10 certified do not use higher than 4.6 xxxx which was a intel OEM release as later versions no longer have support for the z800 c600 chipset
note that due to the SATA bus ,500MBs is about the max in R/W
and the PCI-E 2.0 bus will also limit speed compared to PCI-E 3.0 bus which is twice as fast
remember most ssd speed ratings are assuming a pci-e 3.0 bus, so on the z800 expect approx half of that speed
