Hi,

Is it possible to run the 2TB Samsung 980 NVMe drives as data storage on a Z820 ?

It will obiously not boot and only run at PCIe3 speed, but I would like to use it as fast data storage.

yes, 64 bit builds of  windows 10 and current linux distros  include generic nvme drivers for non booting nvme drive access
