Zbook Win10 pro doesn't read AutoCAD 14 genuine Autodesk DVD for Win95/NT4

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, this is an HP Zbook workstation Windows 10 Pro,

and just got a bargain AutoCAD early version, looks genuine Autodesk, but

when attempting to install it, the DVD is not recognised, as if empty bay.

When attempting to spend 1 of 5 region changes, it doesn't work because Windows doesn't see anything in the CD DVD reader.

VLC DVD player doesn't see anything to read.

Also tried one of the many 'region crackers' available online but the problem seems to be at the very first support recognition.

The small pring on the genuine Autodesk CD box reads Windows 95 and NT4.

The earlier versions troubleshooter doesn't start because Windows doesn't see anything to start with.

Is there any way to have my workstation reading this DVD?

Appreciating time and attention,

John BG

Can the disk be read in any other systems?

I can't see why it wouldn't see the disk.

Does it see it as a blank disk or does it not even recognise it being installed at all?
Other disks work ok?

I doubt if AutoCAD 14 (1997) was ever released on a DVD? That was pretty new for the day. Anyway, does the machine read other DVD's? Have you tried the AutoCAD DVD in a different  pc?
