this is the workstation/ POS support forum in the future please post desktop/consumer PC model questions  to those those forums

I recomend you download all the current drivers for your model system from the HP web site, and then create a

restore/recovery disk if you have not previously made a set, (or formated the pc previously)

read the 3 links below

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-elite-m9300-desktop-pc-series/3733093/model/3813852...

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01867418

also backup any documents, files, and what not you want to keep to a external drive or usb key

once you have a recovery disk(s) made, see if on the windows start menu you have a option for doing a system restore

this should resolve all your issues with slow/freezing problems as the restore will reinstall a new OS on the system.

PS once the Os is reinstalled don't forget to do a windows updat several times to get all current updates

once this is done, install a antiVirus program, and make sure to keep it's virus updates current!!

old virus protection files = no virus protection!!!

Last if you want to keep windows 10, download the current ISO from Microsoft and use that to reinstall windows

then do a windows update and it should pick up all nessary drivers needed as your hardware is released before win 10 came out
