So I got 3 Samsung 1Tb 680 EVO drives I got the C:\ cloned and the system boots with the new drive in bay 0 (the bottom one)

The other drives are not recognized by the system in any of the internal drive bays...??

It / they are recognized when plugged into an external USB port.

I have replaced the old HHDs into bays 1&2 and it does not see them either.

I was ready to reinstall windows when the machine got hung up on shut down. So I pulled the plug. On restart the 2nd and 3rd internal drives were mounted by the system with new drive numbers and names.

It appears that Windows' plug and play was incorrectly identifying these devices and needed to reset their description.

Or, it was something else
