HP Z620

Hi Guys

My system is  a Z620 workstation with dual E5-2660, 48Gb, SSD 480 + 2Tb Hdd, Win 10 64bits and dual quadro k4000 (will upgrade to dual K5000 SLI as soon this will solved).

When I try to install second K4000 (slot 5 - PCIe 3 x 16) I the system crash on windows login screen and then shutdown with this error

928-fatal pcie error

pcie error detected slot 5

completion timeout

Any Idea?

Thanks

Hi lifeisfutile666

Thanks for your repply.
I already had the latest bios and drivers,
Swaped cards in slots,
Same issue!!! 😞
One card only - it's OK (tryed with 2 cards to dismiss any card issue)

So, today morning I changed the primary display to slot 5 and pluged the display ports to this card and "Voilà".

Everything working!!!

Thanks for your support

Have you tried updating the BIOS firmware?
