Hp Compaq 8200 Elite MT PC

EFI/i5-2400 4-core

2011-year purchased

DDR3 16GB

Windows 10 Pro

This is one of my old PCs

In the last 3 months

It is extremely sensitive, because of its Shutdown/restarts alone very often, randomly especially on light loads, e.g. when inserting two (on the second) USB sticks, or opening 2-3 programs at the same time... or putting PC to sleep after awaking restarts, or in the ONE monitor, I have for two PCs, if switch HDMI Slot in the monitor to my second new PC, after return to this old PC I have it restarted, as well?

What do you recommend?... the Windows 10 Pro is Not supported fully but installed in 2016, ... Is Linux convert/install a solution, or is it a virus? My anti-virus is AVG Ultimate... Is it a memory RAM DDR3 problem???

This sounds like a grounding problem.  Is your plug type E or F?

Make sure the grounds are making a good connection.

Possibly static electricity problem when inserting a USB flash drive.   If so, you would feel a slight shock at the instant the flash is inserted and the system dies.

Are all systems on the same multiple outlet?  Possibly a problem with the outlet sockets.  Try another multipole outlet.

Sorry!
