Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have purchased 2 of these units from new and both are set up identical with windows 10 and sage accounting software.

However, with one of them the fan is always running and it isnt a consistent running,it speeds up and down.

It does this when nothing is running and ive tried disabling certain things in task manager and makes no difference.

Even booting safe mode it does the same.

The other unit makes no fan sound at all unless a high demand is placed on it etc.

Any help would be great as to return one of them would leave my whole accounting abilities disabled.

Cheers

hi,thanks for your reply.

I have tried lowering power settings, shuttong down processes and programs and nothing works.

Ive updated the bios too.

The only time ive managed to get the fan to stop whilst the computer is still on is putting it into sleep mode.

On doing this the screen goes blank and when i move mouse to start it up the screen activates and everything works for a minute with no fan noise then it comes back.

cheers
