Here is the back of the case for Xeon and Core X models:

Xeon:

XeonXeon

Core X:

Core XCore X

Note the missing USB and ethernet port. Both models (Xeon and Core X) use the same bezels -- either one of these:

  • L15658-001 SPS-FRONT BEZEL - DUST FILTER - Z4 G4
  • L15655-001 SPS-FRONT BEZEL - PAINTED Z4 G4

thanks for the pictures, but you misunderstand, what i want to know is did HP do a punchout for the usb/ethernet on the back I/O area but leave the metal in place (sorta like a pull top soda can) and then cover it over using two different back labels or did they actually make two different cases they have to stock

hp is not a profit minded company, and only having to stock one case and simply punch out the xeon boards extra I/O ports and then only have to stock two different  I/O labels  sounds reasonable to me, which is why i'm asking if someone with the intel cpu/board can look inside the case at the I/O area in question and see if the xeon's ports are there and have been simply been covered by the back label
