HP Recommended

Bought a certified refurbished HP z840 w/ 128gb of ECC memory and 2x Xeon processors. 4x 1tb SSDs and the 1125w psu.

GPU is NVIDIA Quattro w/ 8GB of GDDR5 memory. (i forget the exact model)

upon arrival I went to install proxmox on it, but it would not show any image. i purchased another display port cable thinking it was that, but same issue. tried clearing the cmos, same issue. now it is beeping 8 times which says that it indicates a rom issue. 

 

was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before, and if so, what should i do.

 

 

 

edit: amazon and the seller are saying im beat and they aren't accepting a return. certified refurbished my ass.

also, amazon and the seller are basically saying too bad so im stuck with it. so I have to fix this machine...
