hpz800 48gig of ram reduces useable ram on each reboot

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi all, hope somebody can shed some light on this and would appreciate any help.

Twin cpu configuration and 48~G matched ram.

#Install Win7 Pro - no problem 48Gig Ram 48 Useable

restart a couple of times 48Gig ram 32 Useable

will drop eventually to 24Gig.

Fuction seems the same speed but what is reporting this loss in useable ram?

I have tried fresh install

Upgrade to 10 pro

Thye station streams pool competition video, 16 cameras through media pci card by Avermedia but even with these out is still reduces the useable ram.

Thanks in advance

Paul

is the system reporting any memory related errors when it's booted/rebooted

you can have bad ram, which the bios will map out on startup, also a bad memory socket/bad connection will cause this

also installing diffrent memory module sizes in the wrong sockets/order will also cause memory related issues

the proper memory order is largest modules first in groups of 3 (the z800 has a 3 chanel mem controller)

for proper placement look at the side cover, it shows the proper order to fill the slots
