Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti D5 4G Graphics Card
fit into my tower ? better yet will it run properly ? I'm still fairly new to building my own set up so I don't want to buy something like this with out knowing if it will function properly.

the HP power supply in this system does not support cards that draw over 75 watts, and have AUX GPU power connectors on the card
some 1050 TI cards might have a AUX GPU pwr connector and can not be used in your system (i've never seen one yet)
most 1050 TI cards that lack this connector and should work, as long as you have not stuffed your system with dual Hard Drives SSD, 4 sticks ram DVD Burner and filled all pci-e slots with cards
in other words a system with one SSD one HD and only the video card should work, but you will be at/close the power supply's limits

Kyeofthedead,
The standard PSU is 320W and if these photos are of the correct form factor version, there is a single 6-pin connector:
In Passmark PerformanceTest baselines, of the 403 HP Elitedesk 800 G1s of all form factors, there are 11 systems using the GTX 1050 Ti. The best three 3D scores are: 6793 , 6790, and 6784. The best 3D performance GPU in an HP Elitedesk 800 G1 Mini Tower is a i7-4770 / GTX 1070 (=11828). The GTX 1070 is supposed to have a 450W PSU, but then there is a 800 G1 SFF using a GTX 1070 Ti -also a 450W card. It appears that the drive cage will limit the GPU length, so measure twice and buy once. -Also, check if perhaps that form factor has a higher rated power supply- a mini tower usually would have a stronger PSU than a SFF for example.
This system appears to be a reasonable gaming prospect as quite a number- 62 of the 403 tested are using the i7-4790 4C@ 3.6/4.0 Ghz and the overclockable version of that one , the i7-4790K, was one of the fastest gaming CPU's at the time.
