Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am thinking of buying an 18TB hard drive. Will it work on my z420 workstation? Is there a limit?

the z420 does have a bios limit for BOOTABLE drives it's just under 3.6TB

(with latest bios installed) and windows 8.1 or higher 64bit

 

since the z420 bios does support the "GPT" format,... data (non bootable) drives can be just about any size using a 64bit OS
