Product: Z-840
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I wanted to upgrade my CPU to a V4 chip the needs to upgrade memory from DDR4-2133P ecc to a DDR4-2400 ecc
While looking for memory chips DDR4-2400 were hard to find on Ebay. I found some ddr-3200 and they were cheaper. In the past I have installed faster memory than needed in computers and they worked fine.
I got some
2x[16GB DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 ECC Unbuffered 2Rx8 Memory for Server/Workstation by NEMIX RAM]
When installed the computer just beeps..
Can a z-840 not handle these faster ships or does it have something to do with the buffered part?
