My DSL was hit by lightening some weeks ago. It ruined my onboard Broadcom NIC on my HP xw8400 workstation. I am using a USB NIC that works OK. However I was wondering if there is a PlugNPlay NIC that I could install on a motherboard slot. I am running WIN10 64bit pro.

most intel/broadcom nics will work fine, however stay away from the server specific cards
the PCI Express based Broadcom BCM5751 card was the only HP qualified card
this intel card also has win 7/11 driver support
