Little used Digital Entertainment Center now won't power on. Power cord changed - still no response. Blue light doesn't come on at power button. No response to wireless keyboard or remote either.

Hi ECdriver,
A computer repair person might be able to help. They will need to find a 250w power supply that will fit inside, and also align with the fan.
Best of luck.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi ECdriver,
Please check the following:
- The power cord and all cables are securely plugged into the HP Digital Entertainment Center.
- The power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet. Check to see whether the outlet works by plugging another item into it.
- Look inside the rear fan. If you see a green LED, then AC power is available.
- The TV or monitor is connected to the HP Digital Entertainment Center, plugged in, and turned on. e Make sure that the HP Digital Entertainment Center is not too hot, and that vents are not blocked.
If you don't see the green LED, that must mean that the power supply has stopped working.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for your help, MIke.
Had checked all that you mentioned except looking for the green LED near the fan. No light comes on, so it looks like it must be a power supply failure.
Will I be able to have a local computer repair person replace the power supply on this unusual equipment?
I'd like to rescue my entertainment center if I can.
