HP Z820 Base Model Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I own a Z820 workstation and i have a very weird problem about it.

My problem is that whenever the case is in standing position (vertically), the bootup and performance of the pc overall is hindred quite a bit and very laggy ( very slow).

On the contrary when i lay it down on the floor (horizontally)  and boot it, it works perfectly fine with outstanding performance.

My specs are:

1) dual Xeon CPU

2) RAM: 112 GB

3) GPU: Nvidia Quadro K6000

4) storage: 1.5Tb SSD Crucial MX500

I Scanned my PC multiple times with windows defender (FULL SCAN) and with multiple 3rd party softwares and i dont have any kind of malware, trojan, spyware, etc...

As a final resolution..., i took apart all the components cleaned them out properly and i even reapplied thermal paste to the CPUs.

Apparently didnt make a difference except in the sound of the PC fans being extra quiet.

Any ideas or thoughts that might benefit me on this issue?

if what you describe is true that changing the physical orientation changes the Boot/OS responsives i would check ALL the fan speeds and the main air cooling shroud connector as a fan(s) may not be spinning properly and needs replacement

my testing
