HP ProDesk 405 G6 Desktop Mini PC (3J458AV) ( Product Number23H62EA )

Dear members, i am new HP user

1. SOLVED. wanting to update my 405 G6 ( Product Number23H62EA ) MiniPC BIOS. I ended up on the page:

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-prodesk-405-g6-desktop-mini-pc/38255713/model/38...

which is telling me "We were unable to find drivers for your product."

So i proceed to select OS Windows 10 and downloaded sp112242.exe (January update for BIOS - is it certainly this binary - i do not want to brick this computer?), but my PC is not having any SSD drive inside atm, so i wanted to update BIOS from within flash disk within BIOS itself. But on BIOS update page it is unable to find the binary in /HP/BIOS/New on my flash disk. Even it is in such directory. I think it is expecting different binary name/different binary. UPDATE: i had to really run that .exe and it unpacked some .bin files and some .exe files so maybe these can be used. Also beside /HP/BIOS/New maybe it is talking about /HP/BIOS/recent directory. Good to be connected via UPS. I ended up successfully updated via BIOS (F2 key), BIOS main settings menu, and Update BIOS menu. (internet cable connected to PC). That is easiest way, way better than USB i think.

2. SOLVED(likely bad 1 out of 2 RAM modules, but good one still runs at 2666MHz only)

Computer is unable to properly recognize my memory Crucial Ballistix 2x32GB. The OS booted, yet the memtest86 shown errors and after hours ended up frozen, no keyboard input worked: https://hardforum.com/threads/memtest-errors-hp-405-g6-with-2x32gb-crucial-ballistix-so-dimm.2008052...

While i have never found a supported RAM list (QVL) for this computer 405 G6 (https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c06955645 ; 23H62EA  ), please would you suggest to try rather

https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct32g4sfd832a#spec

or

https://www.gskill.com/specification/2/197/1540866339/F4-3200C22D-64GRS-Specification

( !!! THIS ONE MAY BE PROBLEMATIC because i read here that XMP feature (it has it, same as Ballistix) may result in underclock (3200->266x MHz) if BIOS does not support XMP/overlocking) !!!!)

?

UPDATE: after trying just one module at a time in all slots i think that one of the modules does not work (memtest errors), other memtest is ok. I have returned the Ballistix and tested above linked Crucial memory ct32g4sfd832a with CL22 timing and apparently works at 3200MHz.

Thank you very much
