hie 

i want to upgrade the storage in z2 mini g4 

i want to use a nvme m.2 disk in an adapter so it can be installed as a sata disk (i allready have installed an nmve m.2 on the motherboard) 

can you help me in finding - if there is any - an apaptor?

can i use this one

no, the adapter you linked to is not a sata adapter

 

your first clue is that it has two sata m.2 connectors on the board (sata only supports one)

 

second the 3rd vender picture shows a "SAS" type interface for the gold fingers, note the small raised area in the center that has small gold pins a sata interface will not have this

 

third the vender description states SFF-8639, this is also called a "U2" interface and it's a connector design for interfacing a connection to a either a MultiLink SAS drive or a PCIe drive

 

you want a SATA PCI-E adapter card like this one which can use ONE of the cards two different sata card form factor slots

in other words this card can supports two different styles of sata storage msata and the normal sata 22xx formfactor 

only one storage slot at a time can be used
