z800 Memory Upgrade

ExamHP Z800
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have read somewhere that if I am to achieve the deisired RAM of 144GB a mixture of 16gb and 8gb DIMMS are required however doing this will reduce the RAM Speed to 1033Mhz , if I install 1333mhz RAM is this still the case, my Motherboard is 591182-001 460838-003 with a pair of Xeon X5687 processors

The memory configuration guide might be a little dated at 2009 but at that point you are correct, only smaller dimms were supported at higher speeds.

There may be higher speed options with a bios update

At least in the Z600 v2 I got 6 HP sticks x 16GB going at 1333MHz speed, at 20.00/stick USD, posted about a couple of days ago.  These can run at 1866 so that is top speed in the Z620 v2 I also was taking care of.
