When I select 'financial app' it selects 'TVM' in the method drop-down window and I can't get past this! 

 

Help!

Press the Num key to enter numbers into the selected Method's data fields. Press the Symb key to return to the Method selector.

 

If that seems non-obvious, I totally agree with you. :Wink:

Sorry, I originally posted this in the wrong thread!

 

I fully agree that it is not very  user firendly.

 

In our defence, It is concistent with other apps where you select the type of calculations in symb 🙂

 

Another good source of help in such cases is the on calc help which does specify: "First select your desired calculation from the drop menu, then press num to enter the finance numeric view and solve the chosen equations"...

 

Regardless, I am glad that you found the "trick"...
